A luce life update: Thailand, London, Lisbon & on tour with Dolly Alderton???

Angels!!!! I’m jumping in here to give you a life update (actually, just an update so you don’t wonder where the hell I am over the next month hehe) because at this point you’re all my pen pals and it just wouldn’t seem right for me to disappear on you without an explanation. Is this weird of me? Idk. And honestly? Idc.

For the record, I’m going to do my best to keep sending newsy’s (they keep me grounded and I love speaking to you every day) but let’s be honest, it’s gonna get a bit sporadic, especially as I’m going to be spanning multiple different timezones and trying to squeeze in as much time with my overseas besties as possible! Anyway, here are my movements for the next month to keep you in the loop!!!

Thailand

This week I’m gonna be in Thailand with the Asia New Zealand Foundation to attend a media conference I’ve been wanting to go to for a few years now. I feel super lucky because the foundation is taking a small group of media people and the three of us are all women!!! We love to see women in media at the top of their game.

Lisbon

Then (after a brief weekend in London to see my girls - including Liv and Flo!!!) I’m heading to Lisbon to speak at Web Summit, which has 70K ATTENDEES AND I AM THE ONLY PERSON FROM NEW ZEALAND SPEAKING AT IT????? I’m really shook about this. One of the stages I’m speaking on is literally in the MEO Stadium where Olivia Rodrigo performed and also, my bestie Nick (not my brother, another one), who’s meeting me there, text me yesterday to let me know that PHARRELL WILLIAMS IS ALSO SPEAKING???

All of this is too much for my brain to comprehend but also, if you happen to be one of the 70k people in attendance please come along and support me, I’ll need some of my SYSCAhood in the crowd!

London

And on the way home I’m stopping in London to do a Make It Make Sense event with my Bel (of course) and one of my favourite people, both online and in real life,

Back to New Zealand to go on tour with Dolly Alderton!!!

To top off this insane few weeks of COOL things, I’m coming home to do perhaps one of the coolest things of all - I’m joining Dolly Alderton for her New Zealand tour! (Sorry in advance for the jet lag - eek.) I am still yet to write my questions so please let me know what YOU would ask her if you got the chance!!!!!
