Um ok I am on a massive high rn for two reasons - first of all because you were all ENDLESSLY cute about our two year newsy and our cozzie livs sale (you can still get 50% off an annual subscription here, bc times are TOUGH) - and SECONDLY because I’ve just come off a long distance facetime with Bel who TOOK ME ON A TOUR OF OUR NEW HOME IN LISBON!!!! She’s over there being a cute mother hen and sorting out all the hard stuff, while I sit in my childhood bed waiting for my visa to come through. But it made me SO excited to bring you all/ show you all, and mostly it just feels very REAL! Love having all of u along for the ride (especially all our new Close Friends!!!)

Huge news for anyone who couldn’t get tickets to the Era’s tour irl - Taylor Swift has just announced that “The Eras Tour” MOVIE will hit theatres on Friday the (of course) 13th of October!!!

This might sound lame but I actually got goosebumps watching that trailer and I don’t even care.

Mitch McConnell freezes again

This dude needs to be turned off and turned back on again in a big way. For the second time in a few weeks, McConnell - who’s 81 - froze up while answering questions for reporters. This time, he paused for more than 30 SECONDS (a long time when you’re standing in front of a bunch of people) when he was asked about whether he would run for re-election in 2026. Surely that’s his answer then.

Hellooooo!! Today is short and sweet because I am on the road AND stillll reliving seeing HAIM with my besties 🥰 truly the most gorg night, and you can hear all about it in this week’s podcast where we covered everything we have been sold from girlboss to goblin girl and honestly it’s a good one (if I say so myself!!!)

Tomorrow is officially the start of autumn in the UK, and it’s reminded me of this time of year back home. The end of summer in my old flat always felt like a mad race to harvest the fruit from the trees our landlords had planted, coming up with recipes to use the sudden influx of peaches, plums & apples before the citrus season began. I started popping them in boxes on the street and making a LOT of spring salad and peach & apple crumble. When you have ample fruit, crumble is the simplest & sweetest dessert, all you need is some brown sugar, butter/marg and flour and 15-20 minutes. Use any fruit you have, peach and apple is my fave but could also work with frozen berries, plums, apricots, anything you like 🍑

🥧Shit You Should CRUMBLE About🍑

3 apples
3 peaches
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter / marg

Preheat your oven to 180 fan bake. Slice the apples and peaches and arrange in a pie dish. Spoon over some water (a few tablespoons) and sprinkle the cinnamon and a tsp of the brown sugar. In a separate bowl combine the flour, brown sugar and butter with your fingers, rubbing it together until it forms a ‘crumb’. The butter needs to be cold for this so don’t melt it first!! Sprinkle over the top of the apples and peaches until they are all covered. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crumble is golden and serve! 🥧
