angels!! I know I don’t need to remind you, but the syscahood is the most important thing in my life (for real.) we’re in group chats, book clubs, each other’s dm’s and dreams and LIVES in what feels like, to me at least, a pretty big way. for almost three years now we’ve been sending each other letters, exchanging books and stickers and stories, and god i love you for it.
over the past few months, I’ve been noticing a lot of unsubscribes for the same reason - times are tough and even though you don’t want to, you’re having to reign in the spending - and GOD do I hear you.
it’s not easy out there - for you, for us, for small business owners and for the people doing the lord’s work who should be compensated more for it. the cost of living is fucking us all up - I get it, and I feel it too. In saying that, if i want to keep SYSCA alive, i need you to continue supporting us in whatever way you can (whether that’s financially, or just by commenting cute shit on my stuff), and in turn, i’ll try to do the same for you - being here, day in and out, replying to your emails and making you feel seen, whether it’s from my childhood bed in New Zealand or the floor of an airport on my way to bring you somewhere new.
so, if you can, it would mean the world to me if you’d consider becoming a SYSCA supporter, and in return i’ll just keep trying to make it all make sense for you. does that sound ok?
Are you really offering your "subscription" for half of what others pay, because it's not going to plan ?
This is the first time I've looked at one of your stacks, and probably the last.
Me neither. Sorry. I feel like I’m on LSD
