What it's like to be the 'ugly' friend

This was going to be a normal 'ask me anything' until one of you asked a question that took me back to a place I never thought I'd revisit.

My angels!!! Ok so an OVERWHELMING amount of you responded to the survey I put out about the newsy saying that your FAVE thing was when I did little ‘Ask Me Anything’s’ that give you more of a peek behind the curtain of either the business or my life. Well, ask and you shall receive because they’re BACK baby!!!!

I’m gonna be popping a lil question box with different topics up on our Close Friends story each week so you can ask me literally anything, and as ur bestie, I will dutifully answer.

This weeks edish was going to be all about friendship, until I started scrolling through your questions and saw one that made me take a sharp inhale, as if I’d just dived into an ice-bath. Turns out it wasn’t an ice bath I’d be diving into, just my entire high school experience. Here’s the question:

"Really outing myself here but I feel like I’m the 'ugly' friend in my group. Most of the time, I’m fine with it, but there are times that it really brings me down. I’m not sure if you’ll have any advice (since honestly you seem really cute??), but I thought I’d ask anyway."
