Oh, very random (and I haven't listened to the pod yet, so apologies if you address this) but I saw the most brilliant thing this morning that said "If you're a freelancer or someone who goes to cafés to work, please think about going to your local library instead. They need your support and they're quiet (!) so perfect if you're trying to write or study. If we don't use libraries, we'll lose them." And this hit hard. I adore everything about my local library. Books are my escape and I can't afford to buy all the ones I'd like, so borrowing is perfect. I love seeing all the people there of all ages, and the library staff are extraordinary. Yay for libraries ❤️
My mum is a fan of Sinéad and told me about her as a teenager, the thing I mostly knew her for was that episode of SNL which even than I thought was incredible, but knowing now just how strongly she stood for the things she believed in makes me appreciate her even more. I hope she's resting peacefully.
Absolutely love the Sinéad spotlight, also appreciate the correct spelling with the fada (the dash on the e)!! ireland is very shook up over her passing it’s all we’re talking about. she was an icon who didn’t take shit from anyone and makes me proud to also be an irish woman <3
I audibly GASPED at my office when I saw that the footsteps were notable for you too. Barbie rapunzel footsteps are my ASMR. I have a video recording of them so I can access it at my leisure 😩😂
