My therapist really likes the enneagram and what she told me to do for finding your type is to take the quiz, but then go research your top three results on the Enneagram Institute website. Then whichever type feels like it "calls you out" is likely it. It isn't the one that makes you feel all good, because that might be who you "want" to be. Its the one that makes you feel like it is talking about the deepest parts of you and makes you confront your problems. It might make you feel uncomfy at first, but it works.
Yup that’s because personality tests differ in test-retest reliability! Basically meaning that the likelihood of you getting similar results differs across tests based on different things such as your state at the time, your context at the time, your interpretation of the questions etc etc. Personality tests are one of those things where it tries to put people in a box but in reality we are ever evolving and in different days we may fit into one ‘box’ more than another. Super fun to take though 🩶
This is the first time i have ever heard of this personality test but im always happy to see how i appear to oher people lol apparently im an 8w3 which once seeing the explanation didnt really surprise me... this goes hand in hand with the fact that im an ENTP (the debater)
