Hi angels!!! Yesterday I watched the latest episode of Succession which means it was a GOOD day (god I love that show.) I’ve also been weirdly inspired by Shit You Should Cook About and so when I wanted to have soft tacos for dinner but didn’t have any tortillas, rather than going out and buying them I just… made them?? This may not seem like a big thing to anyone else, but if you know me then you’ll know that I HATE cooking/ am incredibly un-practical. So that’s on growth I guess!!

Crushes! Surreal to me, sometimes, how quickly these weeks rock round (wow, how much does talking about time make you sound like an elderly man in a cheese ad), and I find myself at my desk perusing crackup, heartfelt and/or interesting things to say to you.
This week's one's kinda random, but now I know you love new words just as much as me, and because of that, I'm jumping in with wild abandon.
Have you heard of sinwagoning? I saw it on Coco Mellors' instagram (a totally gorge writer whose book Cleopatra and Frankenstein has swept the world and I highly rec) in what looked like a line dancing class which, separate from this story, I'm obsessed with.
(Actually, side note, do you find as you get older, you and your friends get into buzzier and more niche hobbies? What is this? Another Chime? Discuss).
It probably has other meanings (please tell me, don't cancel me, let's go on this journey together) and, upon a brief, Worn Out Woman hoon into Google, it says that sinwagoning is a saying that originates from the film Grease when Danny refers to his car as a sin wagon (bit yuck, bit cringe, bit of... an opportunity to repurpose it???).
SO I'm wondering if we co-opt this into our new world - the world where we have Who Cares Moments (WCM) and pull the clutch out - together. Sinwagoning to me feels like those times when you're trying to convince your friends out of a tricky time, to come and meet you for a good time. Not just like, binge drinking, but like 'come on Bel, come get on the sin wagon and meet us for dinner'.
[Luce note: I am also about to start calling my car the ‘sin-wagon’]
Idk to me, it sounded cute and fun and an affectionate way to describe your time with your besties when you're not sinning at all (or maybe you are) but just having a sheer good time together. Thoughts?

We finally know the real reason Barbie Ferreira left Euphoria
Remember last year when Barbie Ferreira left Euphoria and rumours were running wild? Well - she went on Dax Sheppard’s podcast Armchair Expert and cleared them up for us, and her reasons for leaving Euphoria were kinda what we’d assumed. Here’s what she said:
“I don’t think there was a place for [Kat] to go,” Ferreira shares. “I think there were places she could have gone. I just don’t think it would have fit into the show. I don’t know if it was going to do her justice, and I think both parties knew that. I really wanted to be able to not be the fat best friend. I don’t want to play that, and I think they didn’t want that either.”
She also addressed the rumour that she ‘stormed off set’ saying:
“I actually did not walk off set,” Ferreira clarifies. “I did sprain my ankle once and had to go get an X-ray. Maybe that’s what they mean?”
Ugh I love her, and I loved Kat, but I’m glad she left before the character became another shitty ‘fat best friend’ archetype!!

Donald Trump is officially under arrest
So he’s in New York, he’s officially under arrest, and here’s what else we know so far:
He’s still running for the presidency in 2024
He will be released on bail and plans to return to Florida later on
He has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony charges
The indictment has been unsealed and BBC will be giving live updates as this continues
