I'm usually a silent reader, but I thought your platform is great to spread awareness about something that's going on in this dear country of mine (Belgium):
Five years ago, a young black student named Sanda Dia wanted to join an elite fraternity at a university here, but died because the hazing ritual was absolutely abhorrent. The sentencing of the students who hazed Sanda came out, but even though they were found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and degrading treatments, the students will only get up to 300 hours of community service and a fine up to €400. The case has sparked a huge debate across the country and is now getting some international traction as well. Many people find the punishment unfair because a young student died, and there is evidence the students of the fraternity tried to cover up traces that would lead to them being responsible for Sanda's death. Maybe it's something worth covering?

As I’m finally able to catch up on my fav newsy I wanted to share that it took me around 10 attempts before being able to pronounce « inundated » and got me laughing out loud by myself (I’m French 🥖) 😭😭 ps: i still don’t know what it means

I finished Romantic Comedy last night and I loved it so much. Is there a "grumpy but loveable best friend" character because that's probably me... lol
Love a rom com!!! A quick recommendation for a newish one (the character breakdown reminded me) would be Rye Lane, it's so fun!!!
