Australia's PM has called Elon Musk an "arrogant billionaire”

And for good reason too. Elon got pissed off that he was being court-ordered to, oh, just remove a video of a violent church stabbing from his platform, and so he showed his annoyance in classic Elon style: by posting a meme:

X complied with the orders it was given to remove the video by geoblocking it in Australia, but argued against a global takedown, saying the eSafety Commissioner had no authority.

Here’s what Australian PM Anthony Albanese said about it all:

"We'll do what's necessary to take on this arrogant billionaire who thinks he's above the law, but also above common decency," he told ABC television on Monday.

“What the eSafety Commissioner is doing is doing her job to protect the interests of Australians.

"The idea that someone would go to court for the right to put up violent content on a platform shows how out-of-touch Mr Musk is.”

Spotify has made Nature an "artist"

“Nature’ is now being named as its own artist on Spotify, with its own artist page, and royalties going towards conservation efforts.

The new project - Sounds Right - doesn’t just include “Nature” getting is own page, but the page will be “populated by new music and older songs remixed to “Feat. NATURE” by artists including David Bowie with Brian Eno, Ellie Goulding, U.K. electronic outfit London Grammar, neo-soul and folk artist UMI with V of BTS, Indian artist Anuv Jain, Norwegian singer Aurora and many more.”

"The project is projected to raise more than $40 million for conservation efforts from more than 600 million individual listeners in its first four years.”

I THINK THIS IS VERY COOL.
