i feel like having the same bowl for a sick bowl and popcorn is like a major kiwi thing. i’ve asked a lot of my friends from overseas about it and they all think it’s disgusting and would never do that. but a lot of my friends from nz completely relate and say it’s a common childhood experience.
ALSO love isabella and she truly lived the dream. i wonder if the kissing will uphold until their shows in nz next year??
Prompt for another mundane poll: do you have a sick bowl or a sick bucket? We always used the buckets used for cleaning. No way my mum would let us throw up in her precious Tupperware bowls
We just used empty ice cream containers when I was a kid, but I guess as an adult I just don't get sick enough to vomit? I can't remember when I last vommed
Do people actually have a dedicated bowl to be sick in? Don't they just use the toilet? Is using the toilet more gross that using a bowl? Who empty/clean that bowl? So many questions.
In my family, you set a small trash can next to your bed or couch if you didn't think you could make it to the toilet in time. I would have never even had the idea to use a bowl for this purpose.
We had a sick bowl growing up!! Usually you go for the toilet!! But my mom gave us a bowl when we were younger and went to bed, so if you get sick in the middle of the night and can't make it to the bathroom or something, you've got it right there. In my experience, the parent empties or cleans the bowl for a child, but I guess theoretically you could also clean it yourself. I think the grossness level depends on what state your toilet is in, too--if it hasn't been cleaned in a while and you're laying on the floor by it, you may prefer a bowl! I think I probably would lol
In my family it's always been a bowl for when we go to bed (Although at some times a rubbish bin??), and sometimes the toilet, often though we just used the mixing bowl.
Luce! I went to the 1975 Friday night and honestly haven't listened in years and went with my bestie while I was visiting her. The only reason I know anything about them currently is because of the coverage in sysca. I genuinely thought he was going to bring someone up for the *making out* at a point during the show but he asked the crowd to give a fan who was having a seizure space and then gave her a hug before the paramedics checked her out. I honestly was so anxious the first half of the show though, it was a whole 2 act play and fully performance art. I thought I was going to see Matt Healy's dick at one point and I also was v worried about his mental health. The set was amazing and the first act was really Americana, Bruce Springsteen, sitcom vibes and then the second act was the fun boppy songs. Honestly, if anyone is thinking about getting tix, I recommend it just for the experience you'll get.
Lol everyone talking about bowls but noone about buckets? We just had a designated bucket for if it ever happened. Do the same if someone gets THAT drunk but mostly just use the toilet because.... yeah.
I think Harry needs to do a shoey not a funnel

Came here with the same questions!

Seems to me it makes a difference what the bowl is made of... Like metal/glass would get cleaner than plastic! 🤷🏼♀️
so... vomiting in bowls is a real thing? HAHAHA not me thinking that was just the movies.
growing up, we just vomited in the sink/toilet since it was easier to clean and also just made more sense?
and i always thought you shouldn't trust american sit-coms
