To my Ex I would like to say thank you, and I'm sorry. Thank you for showing me the work I very clearly needed to do on myself to be better, and I'm sorry I pushed you away to do it. I'll always regret not keeping you by my side like you always offered to do, and for not fighting for us more, like you wanted to and did. We're both in better places now, but I still wonder "what if" I'd done it with you instead of without you. You were and always will be, the one who got away.

There's one ex that I've never had the chance to tell him—Thank You. You were my first serious relationship after one that was full of emotional and sexual abuse. You taught me that there are good people out there. You helped me fine trust in myself and others again. Even though we didn’t end up together( I broke up w/ them after realizing that I wasn’t ready for marriage when they were) you still mean so much to me. 11 yrs later, my fiancé also thanks you because without you, I would have been a completely different person and maybe just maybe she wouldn’t have connected with the broken person I was before.
I think tonight I must too make some sort of pasta dish! Been influenced;
I do not care about the coronaysh - I do appreciate the big weekend tho and I believe that money would work better funding the teachers and the NHS!
ALSO! I did see a Lisbon post on the close friends so I was wondering what this means Luce and I could most deffo help (lisbon is a dream rn such good weather)
Several thoughts - as someone living in the UK and dealing with the cozzie livs (gone are my plans to get a mortgage in the next two years) we could not give less of a shit about the coronation. In fact, I'm working both the Saturday and Monday (bank hol) of it, voluntarily.
Secondly, my ex boyfriend showed me what qualities were non-negotiable for me in a future partner. Because I was focusing on those specifically, I dated my current partner and we are getting married in October! I don't think I would've noticed Dan when I did if i hadn't been hyper - focused on what I wanted in a partner beyond 'they also like me'.

I know, from an historic POV, I probably should - "only one in my generation etc etc", but it feels really wrong when the world is going to hell in a hand basket to throw that much money around for something very few people care about. He'd get more support if he gave the money away and just had whatever 'the basics' are to get the job done.
I'd like to say I don't care abt the monarch, but I do care about the coronation only in terms of it being a rare event and one that only people over 70 will have witnessed. I don't know any other event where one person is treated with SO MUCH fanfare and importance. I'm just looking forward to the analysis and discourse that comes from it. How tf do royal families still exist and everyone chill abt it???

Hailing from one of the renegade colonies, the monarchy doesn't affect me at all one way or the other. But I have NEVER liked Chuckles.
And your brother should have just rented a bike here. There are cyclery shops that support rentals.
I'm 45 and don't care even the slightest about the coronation.
